MANY ARISTOCRATIC INVADERS ARRIVE. Biff Consignment of English-Bred Horses Reaches New York in Safety. New York. August 14. One of the largest consignments of richly-bred thoroughbreds ever received hero from England, arrived on the Atlantic transport liner Manchuria. The Cochran horses hart special attention and were in charge of .Frank Midgely, a brother of Mr. Cochrans trainer. Mr. Humphreys band included six yearlings and the rest are "mostly three-year-olds. All are maidens, but their breeding suggests what they may do when raced over the jumps as four-year-olds.
