MUD SILL THE MOUNT ROYAL STAR. Montreal, Que.. August 23. The program offered by the Back River Jockey Club for the sixtli dnv of the second meeting at Mount Royal track was featured by the running of a race at one mile and seventy yards, which was won by Mud Sill. He was under restraint in the earlv running and jot kev Claver never called on him until in the last eighth, where lie drew away to win without being extended. The traik was again fast, as it lias been practically throughout the meeting. The club has arranged a good card for tomorrow, tin! shortest race being at five and a half furlongs. This the first time such a card lias been offered on the second circuit courses of Canada.
