THIRTY LEADING AMERICAN JOCKEYS. Through riding three winners last week, Jockey J. McTaggart became more firmly intrenched in his position as the leading rider to date. F. Robinson did not attain double figures in winning mounts, but he came within one of doing so and is now in fourth place. If he keeps on he should be battling for the lead in October. T. Parrington landed five winners and in that respect was second to Robinson. H. H. Phillips, C. Gross and A. Schuttinger with four each also fared well. At the close of Saturdays racing the records of our thirty leading riders stood as follows: Jockev. Mts. 1st. 20. 3d. Unp. P.C.L.W.
