POSSIBLY FATAL ACCIDENT AT LEXINGTON. Lexington, Ky., September 4. Over a slow track this morning, in preparation for the Kentucky Associations autumn meeting, K. It. Bradleys Irish mure. While two-year-olds were being schooled this morning Harry Wells, a nephew of Howard Oots. wis so badly injured in a collision of the horse he was riding with another, that it is not expected at the hospital, to which he was hurried, that he will recover. John W. Schorrs horses in charge of trainer George Land, came in from Louisville and in hlie car with them were three of Jefferson Livingstons string in charge of Louis Tatiber. Gene Elrod arrived this morning with his electrician and others of the pari-iiiutuil office force and before night had everything in readiness for the opening. Jockey King Iipailles mounts here will be made by William Wade. Jockey C. Hunt is ill and his brother, T. Hunt, will ride for Kay Spences stable here. Spence brought Marjorie 1.. Conimauretta. Kdgemoiit. liocnir. Carrie Orme, Blarney and My Lady Ann from Louisville.
