COERIGAN and I.IcKINNEY5 ENORMOUS STRING. Louisville, Ky., Sept. 13. All or the Corrigan and McKinney horses in training are quartered at Churchill Downs track, with the exception of seven shipped to Lexington, and those old enough to race aiming this high-priced string of thoroughbreds will unquestionably take? a prominent part in the racing at Douglas Park. Churchill Downs and Lu-tonia. When the Kentucky racing season is over, together with the big baud of yearlings owned by the Wickliffe Stable, they will take up winter quarters at the Downs course. The coming winter will see the remarkable sight of two stables of horses in winter quarters at the Downs that combined will number close to 100 head of thoroughbreds, then- being oven more hdrscs in the Ma-eoinber stable than in the Corrigan and McKinney string. No two k tables have ever been wintered at a local track with so many horses these two strings, with the exception of one year at the Downs when the horses in the two stables or Ed Corrigan and John K. Madden reached this huge number. Below will be found a complete list of the Corrigan and McKinney stable, the rirst fifteen of which will be raced throughout the coming Kentucky autumn meetings. The last four of the two-vear-olds in the list are at the Wicklifre Stud, hut will join the stable later on and be prepared for next years racing. With this list is also given the yearlings owned by these tufrmen, which will be brought from Lexington to this course within the next few days by trainer AV. C. Clancy. With twenty-six earlings and nineteen older horses, this stable will have a total of forty-five horses in training for the racing campaign or 1917.
