Loft and trainer Max Hirsch, subject to a contract that Loft would pay ,000 for the colt if he liked him and 500 for the option if he did not like him. Milam received a telegram saying Loft had bought the colt ami was muling the money. Milam lfought the colt a month ago from Messrs. T. J. and G. H. Clay for ,500.
