YEARLINGS TO BE SOLD AT AUCTION. Messrs. AVilliams Bros., George J. Long and F. J. Pons have joined in a salo of yearlings at the Churchill Downs race track, Louisville, on September 30, which will uffonl racing stables an opportunity to secure material for the two-year-old racing of 1917. Few stables have been more successful than AAilliams Bros., who have raced the get of their own stallions, Hilarious and Martinet. They have campaigned such sterling horses ;s Gainer, Hauberk, Gallop, Hectograph, Jocular, Safe Home, Innovation, Intention, James, Farraud, Ilelio, Industry, Eastman, etc.. and there will be found in this sale brothers or sisters to all of these racers. Mr. Longs yearlings are from the dams of such as Hortense, Madelle, Dalston. Rodondo, Exemplar, Katahdin, Dundreary, Civita, AVcvenoke, Fels. etc., while those that Mr. Pons will offer include the prodnce of such race mares op Grace Mc Agnes May, Lady McGee, Abrasion twenty seven wins, Dolly Bultman, Edna Collins, May Lutz, etc., numbering among them brothers or sisters to such as Eddfe Graney, Blue Grass Belle. Meddling Miss, Swift Fox, Great Dolly, etc This sale will about exhaust the yearling supply and those who have not secured any should get a full catalogue of this sale by addressing The Kentucky Sales Co., at Lexington, under whose management tho sale will be conducted.
