DRAAl began somewhat slowly, but moved up rapidly when straightened out on the back stretch, and drew into the lead on the last turn, but was under punishment at. the end. STIR UP raced into the lead on the backstretcli. but tired in the final drive. BUZZ AROUND began slowly, but closed a big gap and finished gamely. FIRST STAR also made up much ground. AVAUKEAG began slowly and worked his way up on the outside, but could not cope with the winners rush. BONDAGE closed a big gap and made a game linish. CADILLAC also made up much ground. The latter finished fast and gamely and would have won in a few more strides. CHRISTIE set a good pace and finished gamely, but tired under his weight in the linal drive. LAZULI ran well.
