SEDAN showed high speed in pacemaking and seemed the winner to the last eighth, but tired badly right at the end. BASIL made a promising challenge on the stretch turn, but tired in the last eighth. CONVERSE was a forward contender from the start and outstayed ROSCOE GOOSE in the final drive. ROSCOE GOOSE was taken back and saved for the first three-eighths, then saved ground when coming into the stretch, but tired near the ud. DROLL showed the most early speed, but tired in the stretch. SURPASSING began slowly and suffered from interference on the first turn, then was forced wide in the last half, but finished gamely and, passing LOUISE PAUL in the last sixteenth, won going away. Tin. litter raced close up from the start and took a small lead in the stretch, then tired, but held on well in the final drive. CAMELLIA set a good pace, but tired badly after leading for three-quarters. GEO. ROESCH raced fairly well. BIGTODO was away poorly. The winner was entered for 00; no bid.
