BEARCATCHER SENT AWAY INTO EXILE. Lexington, Ky., October 7. The sixteen-year-old stallion Bearcatcher is on his way to St. Kitts, British West Indies. He was purchased this week from Messrs. T. C. Bradley and Andrew Bowman by Dr. Lionel Shannon, who came to the States for two carloads of blooded stock and bought a number of jacks, Jennets bulls, cows and goats besides. Amaranth dam of Solid Rock and her. suckling filly by Celt and the weanling filly by Peep oDay Miss Doyle dam of Fan G. were purchased this week from P. J. Milletts representative by Capt. Arthur B. Hancock. Mr. Millett is ill at Knox-vlllc, his former home and it it is said to be doubtful if he can recover. Capt. Hancock reports that Victoria M. dam of Arnold and Little Flower dam of Boots have been booked to his English stallion Wrack, whose near relatives recently sold well on the other side. Picric, owned by Corrigan and McKinney, is out of training and buck at Kingston Farm.
