SONG OF r ALLEY set the pace under restraint until in the final eighth, then passed ZODIAC and. after a mild drive, won going away. BUZZ AROUND worked her way up in the middle of the track and tired after getting to the leaders, but outstayed ZODIAC. The latter raced into the lead, but tired right at the end. QUEL BONHEUR, after being saved early, responded gamely when called on and outstayed NORTHWOOD after being taken wide when going to the last fence. NORTHWOOD saved ground all the way and finished resolutely, but tired right at the end. SUN KING made a bad landing at the last jump and went to his knees, then finished fast. The latter set the pace to the stretch and gave way. DADDY LONG LEGS stepped into a hole at the sixteenth post and fell. HIGH TIDB gradually improved his position, but tired after getting on almost equal terms witli the winner. DISTURBER raced gamely, but found the route too long ami tired.
