GREAT CROWD VIEWS TIJUANA RACING. San Diego, Cal., November 12. A record-breaking crowd turned out today for the second day of the one hundred days meeting at Tijuana. Twelve books were in operation and the layers were kept busy. Square Set, the Duke of Ormonde colt, owned by George W. Wingfield, defeated the other maidens he met in the opener. Considering it was Square Sets first race since last winter at New Orleans, his effort was impressive. He won pulled up in 1:01. Jockey T. Nolan was indefinitely suspended by the stewards for rough riding on Little Jake yesterday. Nolan had been warned to cease his rough riding tactics, but seemed to pav little heed to the advice. Jockeys A. Pickens and Stevens were eacli fined 5 on the same score. This was their first offense and the judges took that fact iiito consideration. While astride Syphon Bov, Pickens bumped Sayonarra and Kootenay. While on Bogy Johnson in the last race, Stevens cut across the others. Secretary Jasper has an improved card for Tuesday, when racing will be resumed after a day of idleness tomorrow.
