THREE RACING DAYS FIRST TWO WEEKS. New Orleans. La., November 17. "I will open my Havana race course December 0. For the first two weeks we will race only three tlavs each week. If the patronage is good, however, after the first week we will race every day but Monday. I intend to race every day except Mondnv after the meeting gets into swing and to offer purses that will attract the horsemen. I nm planning to stay in New Orleans two or three days, then will go to New York and from there I shall go to Havana." II. 1. Brown made the above statement today. I Yesterday lie closed all arrangements with the Business 3Iens Racing Association. The sum of 5,000 was paid over to him, which ended Browns j interest in racing affairs here. He is confident that he will have a big meeting at Havana and says that he is sure that the horsemen at Bowie , will aid him. "I now have 300 horses at Havana," said he. "and am not worrying about getting more. They will go there from Canada, Kentucky and j Maryland. I am thoroughly satisfied with my deal in New Orleans. I got what I wanted and am satisfied. I ask no more."
