" RANCHER THE LEADING FACTOR IN G. M. HENDRIES WINNING RACES OF 1916 : Without having a winning two-year-old in his stable, G. M. Ilendrie nevertheless had a winning credit of 7,375 in his favor at the end of his 1910 racing season. This figure was chiefly due to the sterling qualities of his good four-year-old handicap horse. Rancher, by Galveston Sweet Lavender, and his three-year-old gelding. Sands of Pleasure, by Fair Play Golden Sand, these two horses gaining .1,200 of his 17,375 total for the year. East year G. M.
