CAREER OF A USEFUL SON OF BROOMSTICK. Bonanza was not a high-class race horse, but a pretty good one in his best estate. From his two-year-old days until his recent death he served his various owners profitably. His racing was mostly over sprinting distances, hut he could stay well enough when prepared for it. His best winning year was 1915, but, had he remained healthy and fit for racing, he might have exceeded his 1915 total this year. In all his record was: Bonanza, b. . 1909, by Broomstick Ophirdalc.
