BRADLEY BUYS RICHARDSON FARM, Lexington, Ky., December -1. E. It. Bradley today " added 1S7 acres to Idle Hour Farm by purchasing the Richardson farm, which adjoins him on the east. He is to have possession March 1, 1917. The Bradley string of eighteen, in charge of trainer Cliff Hammou, were shipped today to Charleston, S. C. Emil Herz concluded arrangement with Bradley to have Short Grass stand at Idle Hour Farm during the coming season. John E. Madden received a telegram from former United States Senator Joseph W. Bailey accepting his offer of ,000 for Garden of Allah, which he bought at the Iroquois Stud dispersal here last Friday for hB1,300. Madden also bought Cerina from R. I. Williams for ,S00. Williams got her out of Andy Coreys dispersal for ,500. Garden of Allah is in foal to Duke of Ormonde and Cerina to Trnnsvi.nl. They will be mated to Friar liocl:. Robert .Shannon, acting for J. W. Colt, bought Osmond from R. L. Baker to be used for crosscountry purposes. John J. McCafferty is here seeking two or three horses for racing purposes. Theodore L. Fierce worked two of Frank .7. Kel-lcys Tnip Rock fillies a quarter in 23 seconds this morning. They finished head and head and ran the first eighth in :ll7f., and the second eighth in :11. Pierce left tonight for a visit to Mr. Kclley at Chicago. A. J. Joyuer said he liked the Peep oDay Damson colt belonging to the W. H. Laudeman estate, but he considered the price of ,500 too high. Peter Wimmer this morning looked at the colt for an eastern friend. William Jennings, of Baltimore, is here trying to buy thoroughbred yearlings. Tom Cleinmons has bought the yearling colt by Trap Rock Baby Rose sister to Paymaster from George Lanekhart. The annual meeting of the Kentucky Association stockholders will be held tomorrow morning. Directors of the Thoroughbred Horse Association will meet tomorrow afternoon.
