THIRTY LEADING AMERICAN JOCKEYS. It was a really remarkable occurrence that in the course of the racing of 1915 only three jockeys succeeded in riding one hundred or more winners. This year eight have already done so, with three more having a good chance to come into the list before the advent of the coining new year. In the last ten years sixteen was the greatest number so recorded. This was in 1909. In the other years the number of riders guiding that many winners was: 1900, eleven; 1907, eleven; 190S, thirteen;! 1910, ten; 1911, seven; 1912, nine; 1913, eight, and! 1914, eight. In last weeks racing A. Pickens and 1 C. Gross did best, each riding five winners, while R. Ball, J. Butwell and M. Garner each had four.
