DUKE OF WESTMINSTER TO QUIT TURF. Man Who Owned Some of Englands Most Noted Thoroughbreds Will Sell His Stock. London, Eng., December 21. The Duke of Westminster has announced his intention to sell all of his blooded stock, horses in training, broodmares, loals and yearlings, which has caused general regret in racing circles, for no colors arc more popular than those of the house of Grosvenor. It will never be forgotten that from the Eaton paddocks came Bend Or, bis son, Ormonde; Onne, the son of Ormonde, and Flying Fox, the sou of Orine. The Duke, who has been on active service with the armored car division since the beginning of the j war, is at present home on sick leave.
