G. H. BROWNE BUYS ENGLISH STALLION. Flotsam, a Grandson of St. Simon, Arrives to Go to Breeding Farm at Brownleigh Park. Jfcw York, December 2G. The English stallion, Flotsam, which Grant Hugh Browne has imported for his Brownleigh Park Farm, arrived on the transport liner Michigan Saturday, along with two other thoroughbreds. Flotsam is sixteen years old, by Frusquin, a sou of St. Simon The Float. As a three-year-jld IFlotsam ran 6econd to Bock Sand iu the Two Thousand Guineas, defeating Rabelais, the famous French horse and sire, and in the Derby he was third to Rock Sand and Viucius. The other thoroughbreds in Mr. Brownes imported trio were the big chestnut four-year-old colt Wormleighton, by Sir Archibald sou of Desmond Arc Light, and an unnamed bay yearling colt by .Tnvelin son of Spearmint Full Cry, by Flying Fox sister to Amphion, the sire of Sundridge.
