CRISIS IN PRODUCTION OF ARMY HORSES. Tlie Council of the Agri-ultural Society of England has paaaed the following resolution: "That the Board of Auricultiire and tlie War Office be requested to state their policy for stimulating the production of light horses suitable for military purposes. At the present tim e the raising of these horses is liii-en-.unerative. and. as hunting is practically abandoned, unless something is done by the government to give confidence tj tlie breeders, a serious state of affairs will inevitably arise."
