INCREASED PURSES AT C0NNAUGHT PARK. None Less Than 00 at Either Meeting — Four Stakes of the Value of ,000 Each, Ottawa. Out.. March 19.— The Connaught Park Jockey Club will offer increased purses at both meetings during the coming racing season. It is nadersteed that none of the parses will be less than 00 and that there will be at least two ,000 stak" races at tin- spring mooting and two in the fall. Conditions are now being arranged and they will be announced on the recovery of Secretary C. Ross, who has been confined to his bed for the past week with B sev re cold. It i- hoped to furnish the best raring on record at Connaught Park and to attract all tlie Quest horses running on the Canadian cirruit.
