VIVA AMERICA ran as if much the best, moved into a long lead at once and won as her rider pleased. AMELITA was hard ridden through the last quarter, gained steadily and finish. -d fast. BRADLEYS CHOICE was kept close up to the stretch turn, from Where, under urging, he drew into the lead and held AMAZON safe in the final drive. AMAZON showed high speed and set a great pace, but tired slightly in the stretch. BQUEBLEB raced forwardly all the way and finished fast. SKILES KNOB was gaining ill the last eighth. BRINGHURST was saved during the first three-eighths, then moved up fast under hard riding and swerved over and interfered sharply with CHALMERS, which in turn imi eded KALITAN, then drew out in the last seventy yards. CHALMERS was driving hard after rounding into the stretch and was a lucky second. KALITAN was going fastest when impeded and would possibly have won with a clear conrse. MANAGER WAITE ran well. Won driving; second and third the same. MONEY MAKER was far back until in the last quarter, where he came with a rush under punishment and overhauled SLEETII in the last seventy yards. SLEETH raced well up from the start and took the lead on the last turn, but began tiring near tlfe end. BRIBED VOTES ran a good race and held on well in the stretch. MARY 11. set the earlv pace and tired, but came again 111 the stretch. BELL BOY had a rough race. BOB HENSLEY showed much speed for the first seven -eighths. The latter gained steadilv and was going fast at the end. TUBCO tired fast after going three-quarters in the lead. CLIFF FIELD finished U well. WATERPROOF showed speed, but tired.
