GENERAL NEWS NOTES OF THE DAY. An amazing collection of bombs, poisons, bacilli of deadly diseases anil others means of death and destruction has been seized by the authorities at Christiania as part of the baggage of Baron von Rosen, a Swedish nobleman and alleged to lie a German agent. The baron fled to Norway after his activities had aroused the Swedish authorities. He was arrested, but. as he could not be convicted of violating any Norwegian law. he was released with a warning to leave the country. Baron von Rosens field of operations was along the Swedish -Finnish border. The Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen yesterday ordered liberty bonds to the amount of 50,000. Secretary-treasurer A. E. The money is to come from the accumulated funds of the organization and the subscription will not interfere with the purchases for their own investment by individual members.
