PHILIP J. DWYER SERIOUSLY ILL. New York. June 1. — Philip J. Dwyer. member of the Jockey Club and part owner of the Gravesand and Aqueduct racetracks, is reported to be critically ill at the Hotel Waleott. He and his brother Michael F., who died several years ago, raced on an extensive scale several years ago and owned some of the most famous horses on the turf.
