SLIPPERY EiM raced an the outside from the atari and was bothered frequently by CORN TASSEL swerving out. TORCH-BEARER quit after racing furwardlv in the tally running. SERENEST was always a forward contender, could not withstand the winners challenge, but lasted long enough to hold OOLDEN ROD safe. The latter was outrun early, but finished fast. SASIN was a forward contender for the entire race, but tired under punishment in the last sixteenth. EAGLE was in close quarters at the quarter post and quit in the final drive. GFESSWORK, knocked ha k at the start, closed up gamely and would have won in another stride. JYNTEE set a fast pace, bat quit as if short. THISTLE ran well and finished gamely.
