SCEPTRE BRED TO EIGHT SIRES. Sceptre, says the English writer Audax in Horse and Hounds, has liecn covered by eight different stallions sii-ce going to the stud — Carbine, Cicero, Cy llene, Olenesky, Isinglass, Marco, Swyuford anil William Rufns.
