RACING IN PROSPECT AT GRAND RAPIDS. L"ington. Ky., June 1. — The directors of the Thoroughbred Bone Association, after hearing Judge Joseph A. Murphy, this afternoon voted approval of plans for a ten-days race meeling at Grand Rapids, Mich., to begin July 1. under .Indue Murphys management. Judge Murphy is sanguine that the Graad Bapids meeting will go ■,-, long way toward the re establishment of racing in the west and he is particularly optimistic as regards the future of the sport in this country. Judge Murphy left Lexington tonight for his home at St. Louis.
