JOCKEY WARNE RELEASED FROM GERMANY. A recent number ef Pi tils, her Simrt of Pcrlin states that the Pitvlish jockey W. Warne was released from the internment camp .it Uuhleben and returned to rugmud, having been preceded by his wife. The paper mention, d pays tribute to Witrnes jeckcyship. saying that he was one of the best riders that ever entered Germany. Among the big races he won were tlto Oerm.in Derby on Am-fried. the Grand Prize of ll.inilmig on ■pechers ■tender, Beiiaar and ■hmsvugsjj, the Daieu Kewpan on Pathos and Moudsteha, the Gtaad Prize of Merlin on X.naate and Pathos, the lut I ell utile. Memorial at Baden on Winfrietl, Nordlaitdfaliier BUS Ilaminiirabi. and the Grand Prize of Paden-Pailen by aid of Xamate. Before he migrated ts Germany, Warne was one of the besl jockeys in Austria Hungary, where he won the Austria Pre Is on M.-isha. In 19 MI he won the Vienna Jubilee Prize on Attil.i and on that great mare Patience, he secured the Ksterhazy Memorial in 1904.
