NO RULING AGAINST G. A. ALEXANDRA. Consequently His Entry Will Be Accepted at Devonshire — Yesterdays Races Keenly Contested. Windsor. Oat., June 11. With the Tecunrseh Handicap carded as the feature race of the day, a fair crowd turned out at Dvonshiro Park to watch tie- sport. The races were more keenly contested than on tin- opening afternoon, the finishes in most cases being of the driving variety. Starter Edward Tribe fined jockeys A. flavor and A. Johnson 5 each for disobedience at the post in the first race. The following was announced by presiding steward Martin Nathaassa today: "The entries of J. A. Alexandra were ordered refused at the recent Dorval meeting because of a ruling alleged to have been issued by the Tijuana Association. The stewards at Devonshire Park hold telegrams from W. P. Eraser, secretary of the an.-idiau Kaeing Associations, from J. W. Caff-froth, president, and Judge C. II. Ivttongill. presiding steward ,-u Tijuana, that neither the C. K. A. nor the Tijuana Association has any ritling against Alexandra. His entries, therefore, will he accepted at Pt»u— bin Park." Eight horses, the property of G. A. Alexandra, will be sold at public avrtioa without reserve in the paddock on Wedaesdajr. These are as follows: .losefina Karate, Anna Krater, Cuddle I p. Spring Valley, Lady Boweaa, Qaarterasaster and Cars Nome". J. V. Hedriek was an arrival from Louisville today with a string of horses. He will stay here until the meeting closes. It w is announced today that the contract which Messrs. Fra/.ier and Ferris have on Jockey G. Bcherrer has beea ■sM to V. A. McKiaaey. Trainer Hurttscholl announced that his good handicap horse All Smiles came out of Saturdays race in poor condition and. as a resalt, will be I. liable io race again for a few Weeks. Jockey C. Peak was an arrival from Hot Springs. Peak i- now doing 110 pounds and has been resting sinee the meeting at Hid Springs. K. II. Barke arrived from Hclmont Park witli a string oi" three horses. He also brought along wit ii him joeki y Pitz. Phil Ingar was a visitor at the course today, coming in from Cleveland. Jockey Meriatee informed the stewards that the cause of Pratt Cakes poor showing on Saturday, is to lie accounted for by the fact that she was caught in the barrier anil had a difficult time in getting away from the post.
