Including the ,500 added by the Kentucky Association, the Breeders Futurity, which closed with 224 nominations, now is worth ,095, and starters are to pay 50 additional; 70 per cent to first, 20 per cent to second, 10 per cent to third, fourth horse saves its stake. The race was first run in 1910. Heretofore the race was run at the spring meeting, bin. for this year the distance lengthened to the Futurity course, which is about 170 feet short of three-quarters, -and its conditions changed to make the decision in the autumn. It will probably be run the closing day of the meeting, Saturday, September The Breeders Futurity for foals of 1917, to be decided in 1919, closed July 1 with 224 nominations at each, as follows: Ki .
