Lillis and AVooden Shoes belong to the same owner. G. A. C, Little Rock, Ark. As now scheduled, the Kenilworth Park meeting will begin July 24. Chas. R., New Orleans, La. Iron Cross II. was well backed for place in his race of July 10. No show tickets were sold, but straight and place tickets were sold on every horse in the race. S. L., Chicago, 111. and B. F., Detroit, Mich. Boots opening price in race 342S0 July 8 was 3 to 1. Daily Racing Forms Eastern Edition was correct. The error was one of telegraphic transmission to Chicago. R D., Montreal, Can. An entry is one or more horses. AVhen one backs an entry he is represented by whatever starts of the entry. If one of the entry is sold before the race, the sale operates precisely as if it had been scratched. As race 34378 was run Thundercloud was the Madden entry. Star Class having been sold and Lady Rookie scratched. A backer of the entry would have had his chances in that Thundercloud might have won.
