, EXPECT DECISION TODAY ON DATE TANGLE. Montreal Quo., July 17. Although no official statement has been made, it is reported that a decision 111 the local racing tangle, concerning the matter of licenses and dates, is likely to be given out from the provincial revenue department today lhe matters which have been under consideration are the granting of a license to the London Jockey Club to run for the closing week at tho Mount Koyal course, the granting or a license for another meeting to the Maisonneuve track and the granting of a license to Kompton Course, the Laprairie track managed by Sam Holman. Whether Maisonneuve would get another license is said to be still problematical. It is reported in usually well-informed circles, however, that tho London club would be granted a license, as would Kempton Park. If this turns out to bo correct Montreal racing fans will have their choice of two places of entertainment during the closing week ot July, immediately following the Delorimier meeting, which opened yesterday to run the customary seven days.
