SALE OF HORSES AT THORNCLIFFE PARK. Toronto, Ont., July 27. The Thorncliffe Stable disposed of several liorses at auction in the Thorncliffe paddock before the races yesterday. Britannia brought the best price, 75; Robert Newell was the purchaser. Tho others sold were Lox On. to U. S. Wishard for 80; Queen Sain, to E B. Clancey for ; Lord Kitchener, to T. B. Waters for 45; Joffre. to T. Whiteside for 0, and Clinker, a yearling bay colt by Orme Shore Minnie G., to W. J. Milligan for 0. W. Russell disposed of Maiden Bradley to W. Smith; William Cross has purchased Flowery Land; William Walker made the customs appraiser a present of Princess Fay, all for saddle purposes. J. J. Feeney. owner of Choctow, claimed First Bjferee out of the seventh race Thursday.
