PARR TO PURCHASE ARMY REMOUNTS. Baltimore, Md., July 27. Ral Parr, one of Marylands best-known horsemen, as well as a society man, has enlisted and been given the commission of captain in the Federal army. Captain Parr has been given an appointment by the government empowering him to purchase horses, for remounts and army service. A better man for this apiwintment could not have been selected. He is not only a breeder of horses, but a well-known gentleman rider. He has owned several of the best steeplechasers that have ever been raced in the United States or in Canada.
