Won driving; second and third the same. METEORITE showed great speed, drew clear when his rider was ready and held the race safe at the end. BASIL, shullled back at the start, moved up to the leader with a rush on the last turn, but was tiring at the finish. GUNROCK gained steadily from a slow beginning and outstayed BALLY for third place. The latter lacked his usual speed and could never get up. ZOUAVE and SANDALE tired badly. Scratched 34511 Raider. BELLE MERE raced PARLOR MAID into defeat in the early running and took the lead, but tired in the final drive. PARLOR MAID tired after setting a fast early pace. DIANTHEA closed a gap.
