UNCLE BRYN WINNER IN FAST RACE. Establishes New Record of 1:39 for Milo and Twenty Yards and Easily Beats Fruit Cake. Windsor, Ont., July 30. Uncle Hryn, coupled with Priscilla Mullens as the J. K. L. Uoss entry, accounted for todays feature race at Kenilwortli, "when he won the mile and twenty yards handicap in easy fashion from Fruit Cake. Uncle Uryn came from last place, being far back in the early running. He closed up with a rush after going the first half and at the finish easily passed Fruit Cake, "which made all the pace. The mile and twenty yards was run in 1:39, a new track record for the distance. The attendance this afternoon was again large and speculation brisk. The live and a half furlongs handicap went to J. B. Respess Bradleys Choice, which beat Tea Caddy out by a scant half length in a driving finish. Tea Caddy came from a long "way back and ran a capital race. The two-year-old Dr. Lloyd died at the Windsor track this morning, as a result of an attack of lung fever. Jockey Crump was set down for the remainder of the meeting by tho starter, for disobedience at the post in a race on Saturday. Jack Atkin was an arrival this morning from New York. He. leaves in the morning for California and will stop off at Chicago on his way. Atkins intends to take in the Reno meeting in September. lie lias a couple of horses turned out in California, one a three-year-old brother to lontefract anil another a filly by Jack Atkin Toots Mook. They "will be raced at the Tijuana meeting next winter. Jockey Paul Louder has decided not to go to Saratoga. He will instead go to Laurel, where he "will rest until the opening of the meeting there. Louder will ride for Walter Dupree at Tijuana next winter. Many Owners Going to Saratoga. J. F. Richardson leaves for Saratoga Wednesday. JIo will take four horses, the property of J. F. Sweeney, with him and also one for II. S. I ted well. W. TV Anderson is another horseman who goes from here to the springs and James Arthur, It. McKeever and Capt. W. J. Press ship there tomorrow. John Carey, who acts as paddock judge at the "Fair rounds track. New Orleans, passed through here this afternoon on his way to St. Louis, when? he will be one of the officials of the meeting, which will be held there, beginning August 1!!. Charles Rnynor disposed of the plater Night Owl to C. T. Worthington at private sale. The price paid was 00." Raynor goes to Saratoga to train the Jim-sex that Mrs. L. A. Livingston will race there. B, Rcspess the two-year-old Gleam, a sister to Fruit Cake and the three-year-old Lnugdeu, which showed such good form last year.
