SOLDIERS NOT HORSES ANSWER BUGLE CALL. An amusing incident occured on the opening day of Blue Grass Fair at Lexington when the bugle calling the horses from the paddock was mistaken for "assembly call" and 4,000 guardsmen of the First and Second Kentucky Infantry rushed from the grand stand and all parts of the grounds to the stacked guns in the center- field. It was" several minutes before .the track was cleared of soldiers and order resumed.
