There was no racing in fhicago when he was a two and three-year-old and Ms racing was confined to the eastern tracks. C. S. W.. Jr. Pine Bluff. Ark. Mutuel place prices are not furnished on horses which do not finish first or second. R. B., Chicago. 111. A stipulated wager on Cheer Leader August 2, "if Azalea did not win," attached to Cheer Leader as soon as Azalea was scratched, and it won. Azalea did not win. Her scratching had the same effect as if she had ran and been beaten. J. P. B., Chicago, 111. At Saratoga, August S. G. D. Widener, Jr. had entries in two races and .1. E. Widener entries in one. If a person had made a parlay, one component of which was "Widener entry." not naming the race, or which of the two Wideners was meant, the layer would be justified in holding that it attached to the first race in Which either of the Wideners had a starter.
