SARATOGA YEARLING SALES ENDED. French-bred Youngsters from Haras Du Gazon Stud Bring Satisfactory Prices. By ,T L. Dempsey. Saratoga. N. AT., August 18. The yearling sales here for this year terminated this morning at the Fasig-Tipton mart, with the offerings of the Frei.ch-bred youngsters from the Haras du Gazon stud, the property of Mrs. II. B. Duryen, and the yearlings owned by Edward Cebrian of California. The French consignment represented fashionably-bred youngsters, but they lacked prepossessing appearance. The prices obtained were fairly satisfactory, but at that, some good bargains were secured by the purchasers. There were sixteen in the Cebrian consignment, but only eleven were sold, the other five failing to elicit a bid and were passed out. Following is a complete summary of- the sale: Property of Mrs. H.
