JOCKEY ROBINSON ON BAD MOUNTS. Saratoga, N. Y., August 18-Frank Robinson is being passed up by many of tiie visitors as a goo A rider and many times without cause. It Is true he is not winning many races, but as Albert Simons says, he is riding bad horses. "Ho cannot "win races on had horses," said Mr Simons, "and he has ridden plenty of them lately. I guess they will say he rode badly on Payment. I had a good wager on that filly and she would surely have won, had she not split her hoof in the running. "When a rider" is popular and is iinfortu-nate in getting bad mounts, he is quickly condemned by the public. They do not stop to consider the horses he rides, but think he should Win anyhow. Frank will be in his stride again one of these days and convince the boys that he has not gone back."
