AVon handily; second and third driving. OTHELLO, after racing in close pursuit of the leaders, drew clear with a rush iu the last eighth under punishment and was going away at the end. ALVORD was forced wide on the stretch turn and made a fast finish. AlEAVPOINT, away slowly, steadily improved his position, saved ground when entering the homestreteh and finished gamely under punishment. BARSAC finished with his usual belated rush through the last quarter, but swerved badly at the end. DELANCEY left the barrier poorly, but closed a big gap and ran a good race. PHOCION raced into the lead in the homestretch and tired. NIGHTSTICK was in close quarters throughout The winner, entered for ,S00, was bid up to ,005 and bought iii. Scratched 31598Burglar, 107. PAPP met with interference on the baekstretch, but slipped through next to the rail when entering the homestretch and finished with a belated rush. II API V GO LUCKY displayed excellent speed and raced into the lead, but tired when put under punishment. RAHU was shuffled back at the start and closed a big gap. NUTCRACKER ran well, ;t tired in the homestretch. SALVKSTHA closed a big gap. ENFILADE could never secure a clear CTurse. TRACKSEND quit after going a half mile. Won driving; second and third the same TEA CADDY, showed excellent sieed in pacemaking from the start and drew away into a long lead while rounding the last turn, then tired slightly in the last eighth, but lield on gamely and outstayed CRIMPER in the final drive. CRIMPER was outpaced early and forced to race extremely wide on the turns, but finished with a rush and would have won in a few more strides. DODGE raced in dose pursuit of the leader, but tired in the streteli drive and the race should improve him. DICK WILLIAMS ran well and held on gamely under punishments MANAGER WAITE lacked his usual speed and raced wide. WISTFUL was pulled up in the homestretch. DEBADOU began slowly, but slipped through next to the inner rail in the last quarter and finished with a rush. MATINEE IDOL was hard ridden throughout, but tired after setting a fast pace to. the stretch. SAINTS BRIDGE began poorly and met with interference on. the turn out of the back-stretch, but closed an immense gap when clear and ran a good race. AMERICAN EAGLE was shuffled back when entering the homestretch. NEPPERIIAN finished with a rush. TROMPE LA MORT gained on the leaders in the last quarter. PLEVNA was practically left. PULASKI began poorly and met with repeated interference.
