THE LATEST ARRIVALS AT LEXINGTON Lexington, Ky., September 11. The stables of John W. Schorr and E. W. Moore came in yesterday morning from Louisville; Louis Tauher is in charge of the Schorr horses and he brought Pen-rod, Nib, John Reardon, Cruelty. Georgia Kelly, Everton, Snappy and The Merry Whirl. In Moores string are Hollister, Bright Sand, Sal Volatile, Pianette, Sea Urchin. Beauty Spot, Lady Matchmaker and Arthur Mileton. C. C. Van Meter arrived from Louisville Sunday with his horses and Thomas Ryan came in from Chicago with two. Eugene Elrod and several of his pari-mutuel crew arrived last night from Louisville. He will have eighteen machines in the line; one will be a 5 machine. W. J. Ypung and jockey Morys arrived from New York Sunday night. Young said Escoba would have given a much better account of himself in the race for the Futurity had the track been dry. Escoba will come to Lexington Wednesday in the car with Papp, and they will meet here in the Breeders Futurity September 22. B. B. Elkins, one-time owner of Bayberry Candle, has arrived and says he is in the market for horses. The catalog for the Kentucky Sales Companys sale of stallions, broodmares and weanlings, September 18 and 19, lias been issued. Mose Cossman, agent for E. It. Bradley, arrived from Saratoga.
