NEPPERHAN gradually improved his position and finished fast and gamely. ADELINE PATRICIA was shullled back at the start and closed a big gap quickly, then took the lead and set a .fast pace, but tired badly when challenged. THISTLE finished with a belated rush through the last quarter. RIFLE was a forward contender for a half mile. TUOMPE LA MORT had no mishaps. Scratched 35208s Wyoming, 110; 34946 Piedra, 109. MESHACH, well ridden, saved ground in the early running and made a game effort in the last quarter, but ran out, losing much ground. ARCHDALE helped make the running, but tired in the final drive. TRACTION saved ground on all turns and outstayed TRIPLE CROWN at the end. The - latter tired after going well for three-quarters. HANOBALA swerved out on the turn and her small rider could not do him justice. The winner, entered for ,600, was bid up to ,305 and bought in. SO LONG LETTY closed a gap and outstayed DEBADOU in the final drive. The latter took the lead in the homestretch, but tired when put under punishment. CAVAN BOY also tired in the last eighth. CHARMEUSE began slowly and was forced to race wide, but responded gamely to punishment and ran a good race. FAVOUR was always a forward contender and saved ground on the turns, but tired in the stretch drive. DAYBREAK showed speed. WILD THYME ran poorly. The winner, entered for 1917.sh00, was bid up to ,205- and bought in. Overweights Charmeuse, 1 pound.
