HOME SWEET HOME was always a forward contender and held on gamely to the end. SERENEST raced in nearest pursuit of the leader in the early running, but tired badly in the last eighth. COURTSHIP moved up at the eighth post, but was not energetically ridden in the closing strides. HARVEST KING finished gamely. GILLIES was hard ridden all the way. Scratched 35282 Deckmate, 119. DADDYS CHOICE, after racing in close pursuit of the leaders, came wide on the stretch turn, but came on fast under punishment, to wear AV1STFUL down and win in the closing strides. AVISTFUL, under restraint in the early running, moved up rapidly in the homestretch into a brief lead, but could not withstand the winners challenge. A1EAVPOINT raced CHICLET into defeat and drew away in the homestretch, but tired when forced to a drive. CHICLET set a fast early pace, had no mishaps and tired badly in the hist eighth.
