RACING STATISTICS OF BOWIE MEETING The fall meeting of the Southern Maryland Agricultural Association was, originally scheduled to open November 14, hut owing to a deloy in securing n permit to race, did not begin until November 19. Thu length of the meeting was curtailed to eleven days, during which time seventy-six races were decided and S49.C80 distributed in purses. There were no stake races provided. The daily average distribution amounted to ,516.30. R. F. Carman was the chief winner among the successful owners, his horses accounting for ,492. J. E. Griffith, J. Arthur. E. Arlington. W. A.
