Won driving; second and third the same. FANNIE MEHAN followed the fast early pacemaker until straightened out in the homestretch, then wore OPHELIA down in the last eighth and outgamed her at the end. OPHELIA showed sujierior s|wed for the first three-eighths and made a fast and game finish. MISS IXVF.R ran well, but had to be hfird ridden to outstay STAR FANCY. OTTO FLOTO raced into an easy lead when going to the tenth fence and easilv held the others safe all of the last half. NEW HAVEN fenced well and finished gamely. ROYAL SPINNER tired after moving tin menacingly at the eleventh fence. EMERALD ISLE II. tired and may have been a little short. RACEBROOK lost his rider at the fifth fence. NELLE YORKE came through fast on the inside and finished in resolute fashion. TOMMYWAAC ran well, but tired and was driving hard to outstay CAIN SPRING. The latter finished fast on the outside. DIKE OF DEVONSHIRE left the barrier in a tangle, then was forced to work his way up on the outside and tired after getting to the -leader at the eighth post.
