■ j • ; j . , THIRTY LEADING MONEY- WINNING HORSES OF THE PRESENT YEAR TO DATE Winning a great stake race plays an important part in the rating of horses in the list of best money winners. Thus it is because that he won the Kentucky Dei by that Exterminator is now at the head of tlf thirty leading winners of 191S. Eurtlvr in the same line. Jack Hare Jr. and War Cloud are second and third to him because of their victories in the twin Prcakncss Stakes. It is an unusual feature in our r.eing to have three winners of 0,000 or more at so early a iieriod in the racing campaign. The chances are that each of these line three-year-olds will greatly increase it.; winnings. The useful gelding, llaulMik, is fourth to the three st::rs and seems to be as good as ever he was. Two platers, Oholus and Irr gular. figure as the winners of the most races, each havii.g eight to his credit. Billy Kelly, un-beat-H and sjiecdy sou of siK-edy Dick Welles, heads the two-year-olds in the list and is distinctly a credit to his daddy. Cudgel shows well in tiie list for what racing he has done and so does Violet Bonnie. The thirty Ik-si winners to date are the following: Hois-. Col. Sex. Age. Pedigree. Owner. Sts. 1st. 2d. 3d. Inp.
