Won easily; second and third driving. NAN KNOEHR set the pace under slight restraint in the early running, then raced into a long lead and won easing up. ELECTED II. raced in close pursuit of the leader and swerved out on the stretch tarn, but linished fast and gamely. FRANK SHANNON began slowly and closed up steadily all the way and. being brought extremely wide when entering the homestretch, outstayed MINE SWEEPER in the final drive. The latter tired as if short. COLUMBINE, shuttled back at the start, raced wide all the wav but finished rapidly through the homestretch and would have won in another stride. GLOOMY GUS was a forward contender and outstayed IMA FRANK in the closing strides. The latter appeared high in ilesh and the race should improve her. PANAMAS closed a gap and finished gamely. HIOH NOON quit badly after setting a fast pace to the stretch. GREEN GOLD was eased up iu the last eighth. HANK ODAY was badly outpaced. PIEDRA raced next to the rail all the way and finished fast. OCR NF.PIIEW tired iu the last eighth after showing the most early speed.
