BLANKS ISSUED FOR BREEDERS STAKES Montreal. Que.. May 25. — Stake blanks have been sent out by the Montreal Jockey Club for the Blue Bonnets Breeders* Stakes, to lie run in the year 1921. This event is designed for foals of this year that will be three-year-olds at the time of the contest. The conditions state that an amount of ,500 will Is- added by the club. The distance of the race is one mile and a half and is one of those tests that go to prove the best qualities of the thoroughbred. This future event was inaugurated with a race in 1916, which was won by the Ontario-bred Copper King, with the Quebec-bred Silk Hose a close second. Because of there being no racing last autumn the event for 1917. which was rich in eligible nominations, had to be canceled.
