Went to post at 2:40. At post 1 minute. Start good and slow. Won easily; second and third driving. HE WILL, clear of interference all the way, drew clear when called on in the homestretch and won with sjieed in reserve. ADELE suffered from repeated interference, but finished gamely when clear ami outstayed LOUISE V. in the final drive. The latter was hard ridden and tired in the closing strides. LAXCDEN saved ground on all turns and had no mishaps. The winner, entered for 00, was bid up to Si 7 Kl and bought by F. Burlew. Won driving; second and third the same. EYELID, under restraint in the early running, took the lead when called on and, responding gamely to hard pressure, outstayed BOLSTER in the final drive. The latter was outpaced in the early running, but slipped through next to the inner rail in the homestretch and took the lead in the las"t eighth, then tired when cliallenged and probably was short. LADY DO BOTHY raced close up to the leaders throughout and. although forced wide on the stretch turn, easily outstayed SYCAMOOR. GEORCE STARR was in close quarters while rounding the last turn au l ran well, but tired in the closing strides. GLOOMY CIS finished gamely. HIGH NOON set a fust pace and tired badly in the last eighth. JOCK SCOT tired. WESTY HOGAN waa never promi-tien;. KITH, under stout restraint in the early running, slipped through next to the inner rail into the lead and drew away in the homestretch, but had to tie ridden out in the closing strides to withstand TDGKLS challenge. The latter was saved behind the leaders until entering the homestretch, thou finished with a lnlated rush and was gaining in the closing strides. FLITTERGOLD ran well, but tired in the stretch.
